the project extends from the south-east end of the site, prolonging the natural fabric of the village, with a view to ensuring rational development and economy of land use. the buildings are set out around a central space that forms the heart of the complex and the playground of the school. designed as independent structures, the buildings are adapted to the topography, while their proximity to one another determines the spatial and functional relations between them. access is via the reception area, which leads to the central courtyard, linking the school and crèche buildings. the existing routes, the chemin de diogne and the chemin du grand bisse, are given new life by this link beneath the road connecting them to the village. |
